Continental have developed the SportContact 5 SSR as a runflat ultra-high-performance tyre. The tyre combines maximum safety, precise handling, and strong braking performance. 

It has been developed in collaboration with original equipment manufacturers, it delivers enhanced performance over the previous generation.

SportContact 5 SSR tyres are available in 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch and 20 inch inch rim tyre sizes.
 

Strong Grip and Stability

A flexible macro-block shoulder design increases the contact area with the road, improving grip and stability when cornering. 

Shorter Braking

Continental’s Black Chili Technology uses advanced grip resins and racing carbon black to optimise energy absorption during braking. 

Precise Steering 

A 0° hybrid cap ply enhances circumferential stiffness while maintaining radial flexibility, delivering sharp steering response and stable handling.
