Continental Premium Contact SSR product description & features

• Runflat version of Premium Contact.
• Excellent braking performance on both wet and dry roads.
• Outstanding protection against aquaplaning.

Continental have developed the PremiumContact as one of the safest and most comfortable touring tyres they have made. This SSR version adds Self Supporting Runflat technology for continued mobility after a puncture.

Fitted as original equipment on many vehicles, it suits sporty cars.

PremiumContact SSR tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments.

Braking and Grip

Bionic engineering, modelled on the natural mechanisms of a leopard's paw, combines with a new-generation silica compound to deliver low rolling resistance and shorter braking distances. This gives confident, efficient everyday performance.

Wet Performance

The tread design provides outstanding protection against aquaplaning along with improved grip when cornering.

SSR Run-Flat

Continental's Self Supporting Runflat system uses reinforced sidewalls that keep their shape during a loss of air. Preventing the tyre from collapsing onto the rim and allowing continued driving after a puncture.
