Continental have developed the CrossContact Winter as a winter tyre for 4x4 vehicles to provide reliable grip and braking in cold conditions. It is engineered for use below 7°C, using an advanced silica compound and a tread pattern designed to handle snow, ice and standing water.

An advanced silica compound combined with a winter-specific tread pattern improves traction on snow and ice. This compound and pattern work together to enhance braking and grip in low-temperature conditions, helping maintain control on wintry surfaces.
The tyre features wide, directional tread grooves that channel water away from the contact patch. By dispersing standing water quickly, the design reduces the risk of aquaplaning and supports stability in wet winter conditions.
