Bridgestone have developed the Ecopia EP25 as a fuel-efficient summer tyre for small cars. It is designed to deliver low rolling resistance and strong fuel economy without compromising Bridgestone's safety standards.
It is used as original equipment on the Toyota Yaris.
Ecopia EP25 tyres are available in 14 inch, 15 inch and 16 inch rim tyre sizes.
Fuel Efficiency
The Ecopia compound is engineered for lower rolling resistance, which reduces fuel consumption. It also generates less heat as the tyre rolls, supporting a longer wear life alongside the efficiency gains.
Braking and Wet Grip
Rib-linked tread blocks give uniform contact with the road for excellent braking performance and responsive steering. Added silica helps the compound stay flexible in cold, wet conditions, maintaining grip where conventional compounds can turn brittle.
Quiet Comfort
A pitch-sequence tread design prevents the build-up of harmonic noise patterns, reducing tread noise for a quieter ride. Together with reduced vibration, this makes for a smooth, comfortable drive.
