For the Blizzak LM005 winter tyre, Bridgestone has used all their latest winter tyre construction and pattern technologies to ensure that everyday motorists are delivered a high level of confidence, control, and safety in both snow and wet conditions.

Featuring a directional tread pattern with zigzag grooves, the Blizzak LM005 delivers strong traction in snow. It also provides reliable braking in even freezing winter conditions due to the blend of 2D and 3D sipes in both the centre and shoulder areas of the tread pattern.

Blizzak LM005 tyres are available in 15 inch, 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch and 20 inch rim tyre sizes.

Feel confident or reassured but would drive to conditions not take risks just because I have winter tyres. Particularly like breaking distance in the wet being reduced in an emergency. For snow very good at getting from a to b and uphill. I have many years experience driving in the snow with and without winter tyres in deep snow and I would say winter tyres are a benefit. I have driven in white out conditions but if the snow higher than my front spoiler then I would stay at home not because the tyres cannot cope but be sensible. In summary performance very good and not noticed any fuel efficiency drop.
