BFGoodrich's use of “chamfered edge” sipes on the g-Grip SUV work to enhance the reliablilty of the tyre when braking. Water is quickly and efficiently removed from the path of the tyre thanks to the directional tread pattern, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.
