How To Reset Tyre Pressure Sensors

To reset tyre pressure sensors, you can follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that all the tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure level as specified in the owner's manual or on the tyre placard.

2. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.

3. Locate the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) reset button. Depending on the age and model of your vehicle, this can usually either be located under the steering wheel or as an option within the settings of your car’s onboard entertainment and navigational system.

4. For cars with the TPMS as a button, press and hold the TPMS reset button until the system resets. For computer based systems, following the on screen instructions.

5. Wait for a few seconds until the TPMS light turns off.

The specific steps for resetting tyre pressure sensors may vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle.

If you're unsure about the process, it's always best to consult your vehicle handbook or contact the manufacturer.
