Like I said in my previous post, I still can't believe what an improvement to the handling of the car since I put these tyres on. The confidence they instill when driving in heavy rain with standing water is quite incredible. Very little steering wheel heave, leaving the car balanced and stable when travelling through standing water on just one side. With the little snow we've had (wet/slushy) I can only say that again, traction and braking are markedly improved.

Having made two long distance journey's in our torrential July rain I am truly astounded at how well the tyres have performed. One journey was on motorway and the other on winding 'A' roads. The car was so sure footed with standing water never pulling the car off course. Indeed hardly feeling any pull on the steering wheel even with deeper verge side puddles. I would also go as far to say that the car has been transformed in terms of its suspension characteristics. As regards to cost, I found I was only spending slightly more than any other ordinary premium brand tyre. To be fair though I did do my homework on researching best tyres in various road test articles.

Excellent all round / all season tyre, just as shame the life of them isn’t the best, 30-35k miles~ I’m still yet to see what their performance is like in light snow. Great middle ground tyres, While they don’t last as long as low resistance summer tyres, they perform extremely well in wet cooler conditions, which the UK is mostly in for the most part of our weather throughout the year. From new to 2.5mm, I had 25,000 miles out of these tyres. While that is below average, I’d say, for much better grip and safety, I’d say it’s a good compromise. My previous low resistance summer tyres would last 40~45K miles. Most of my journeys are of course long - medium motorway journeys. Your results may vary.

Really brillant tyres in winter icy conditions! Not sure on snow performance, as I live in the south, we haven’t really had any significant snow settlements yet. But these tyres are a really good compromise of having 2 sets of tyres, summer & winter. Summer performance is a bit average in dry conditions, but these perform really well in the wet / heavy rain for an all season tyre. They’re designed really well. As mentioned, the cold performance of these tyres is outstanding in icy conditions and dry cold conditions! Good tread life so far in my experience too! Driven over 12,000 miles and still have over 5mm of tread left. Should last me at least 3 years.

These tyres are truly all-weather, with excellent grip in all road conditions (dry, wet, icy and snowy). I love to lean into corners, and this also is where I can feel the improved grip. The tyres have shown minimal wear so far and are offering excellent value for money.
