Fuel Efficiency / Rolling Resistance: A Rolling resistance has a direct impact on fuel consumption. A tyre's rolling resistance score ranges from A to E.

More information
Wet Grip / Braking Performance: B A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.

Product description & features

The e.Primacy has been designed so that the amount of contact the tyre's tread has with the surface of the road is maximised. By designing the tyre to evenly distribute the pressures of braking, acceleration, and forces into the corners of the tyre, the lifespan of the tyre has been extended significantly.

A low rolling resistance has been achieved through specially constructed compound. Within the tyre's compound elastomer-filler coupling works to greatly reduce energy loss, which lowers rolling resistance - resulting in less fuel or electricity needed to move.

Michelin have designed the e.Primacy with a thinner top belt, that is capable of delivering the same resistance with less raw material. As a result, the e.Primacy generates less rolling resistance overall.

Thanks to an innovative component, the tyre's sidewalls can absorb less energy when flexing - reducing energy consumption and increasing range.
