Tested by TÜV SÜD Automotive in March 2009 fuel consumption for the EfficientGrip was 1.9% lower compared to the average performance of 4 leading competitors (VW Golf with 205/55 R16)

- I bought a pair of these a month ago and fitted them to my 04 Mondeo. The tyres there were originally on the front were moved to the back and as they still had grip on them. However in the wet I went round a roundabout and the Goodyears gripped and but the other cheaper makes didn't causing the car to spin. I immediately ordered some more Goodyears and have them on all four wheels now. The grip is fantastic even in the wet. I've also noticed the rolling resistance is less and even in the short time I've had them the MPG on the trip computer has gone up. Would recommend these to anyone. 02/08/2010
- These tyres seem to grip a lot better (including in the wet) than the GoodYear Excellence that they have replaced, and a lot better than NCT5's I've used in the past. They are quiet as well. As for the long life and fuel economy claims only time will tell... 08/02/2010
