Role Profile

This is a great opportunity for a designer early in their career who is seeking out variety and can work with ease in digital one day but is happy to prepare a file for print the next. You’ll get exposure across the business as you work with multiple teams taking ideas from concept to execution.

What you'll do:

• Day to day - help in the creation of front-facing marketing and ecommerce collateral including, but not limited to: integrated marketing campaigns, graphic design and digital communications delivered across web, social media and some print
• Support on new propositions
• Create high quality visually engaging artwork
• Manage and maintain the files and processes required to deliver project assets
• Support Marketing and Growth teams on content and asset production on product activations and social campaigns
• Deliver and present work to internal stakeholders
• Maintain high quality control throughout the process
• Ensure brand consistency throughout every project
• Help us build and develop our visual brand communication system
• Enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for your work

We’re looking for:

• A good visual communicator
• Good time keeping and ability to deliver on deadlines
• Proven experience in a digital role and digital marketing is desirable
• An online portfolio to showcase previous design work is expected
• Ideally educated to degree level in a Design or related discipline but not a prerequisite
• A high level of attention to quality, detail and accuracy is required
• Be able to work confidently in a fast paced and autonomous environment
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing workflow and ability to prioritise when ad-hoc tasks are introduced
• Being fascinated by branding, brand communications and its effective delivery
• An entrepreneurial and proactive mindset who can contribute ideas

Essential skills and tools:

• An understanding of typography and layout techniques
• Ability to create photo compositions and work with vector graphics
• Adobe suite – Illustrator, Photoshop (Any others a bonus)
• Ability to optimise graphic outputs for different screen resolutions
• Boring stuff: PowerPoint/Keynote/Teams/One Drive

Nice to haves:

• Ecommerce experience
• Understanding of responsive websites
• Ad banner creation and output
• After Effects and motion graphics and animation know how
• Sketch/Figma/Invision and UI prototyping tools
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• An interest in the automotive industry
