The Continental AllSeasonContact is a premium tyre model manufactured by Continental since 2017.

The Continental model is an all-season tyre, meaning the AllSeasonContact is designed to have optimal levels of performance throughout all weather conditions.

Continental’s special Winter Performance Resins and Traction Silica Compound designs gives the tyre model enhanced performance through snowy and wet conditions.

ContiSeal is also featured on the AllSeasonContact, which is designed to seal 80% of all tyre punctures. This tackles the risk of flat tyres and tyre deterioration.

Overall, the AllSeasonContact has been a staple in the Continental model line-up and a leader in all-season tyres.

Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 Overview

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is a premium all-season tyre model manufactured by Goodyear.

The Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is paired with Goodyear’s Aqua Control Technology, that aids the tyre in tackling aquaplaning giving the tyre enriched contact and grip on wet surfaces.

Dry surfaces are also not a problem for the Goodyear model to manoeuvre in, as Goodyear’s Dry Handling Technology delivers 5% increase in dry braking performance compared to the Vector 4Seasons Gen-2.

Grip on ice & snow is also strengthened through the additional sipes within the tyre’s tread pattern.

The Vector 4Seaons Gen-3 replaced the Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 in 2020.

Tyre label ratings are EU regulated rankings that determine how a tyre model performs in key tyre performance factors.

These performance factors are:

Tyre noise levels of the AllSeasonContact range from 71B to 73B.

Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 Label Ratings

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 has fuel efficiency ratings ranging from A – D, with B and C ratings being the most common.

The Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 wet grip ratings are predominantly B across available tyre sizes, with some sizes having a C wet grip rating.

The most common tyre noise level is 72B for the Goodyear model, with noise levels ranging between 69B and 73B.

AllSeasonContact Awards

The Continental AllSeasonContact has received awards and recognitions over the years, outlining the importance the model has for Continental’s all-season tyre development.

One of the most prestigious awards for the AllSeasonContact was back in 2021, where Auto Express presented the Continental model with the ‘Best All-Season Tyre’ award. Auto Express hailed the AllSeasonContact as an “excellent tyre”, as well as a “standout performer”.

Other notable awards the AllSeasonContact has received over the years is the UK’s Best Tyre Award at the 2019 Honest John Kit Awards, along with an ‘exemplary rating’ for all-round performance from Auto Bild in 2020.

Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 Awards

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 has also received many awards for their performance, including a recognition from Auto Bild as an ‘exemplary rating’ much like the AllSeasonContact, this rating being for performance on small cars.

Auto Bild also named the 4Seasons Gen-3 ‘Green Tyre of the Year’ in 2022, rating the tyre for its “outstanding mileage” and “low abrasion rate”.

Another accolade that the Goodyear model has gathered is the Tyre Reviews ‘All Season Tyre Test’ in 2020, where the tyre came first. Jon Benson, the Tyre Reviews owner and tester, commented on the 4Seasons Gen-3, “the new Goodyear Vector 4Season Gen-3 earns a win in its first test, proving to have the most rounded ability of all the all-season tyres included.”
