Chosen as original equipment to a number of 4x4 and SUV vehicles, such as Honda CRV, Freelander and VW Tignon, the Conti4x4Contact tyre is a particularly quiet and comfortable tyre and gives good protection against aquaplaning. It has superb traction both on road and in light off-road use.

- Tyres were fitted to a Honda CRV as replacements for the standard fit Bridgestones. The Bridgestones certainly wear well (the last set had covered nearly 30,000 miles) but the Continentals do seem a bit softer and quieter on the road. Grip levels are excellent and cornering feels assured even in a higher 4x4 bodied vehicle. 27/10/2011
