Original equipment on many high-performance vehicles, the Potenza RE050 is built with the pleasure of driving in mind. This tyre comes loaded with race-proven technology: UNI-T for outstanding wet and dry traction. With circumferential and lateral tread grooves, the tyre swiftly removes water from under the tyre's contact patch and helps minimise the risk of hydroplaning.

  • Approx. miles driven: 1,000
good grip in wide range of conditions wet grip and braking is good but they do not last very long. 7000 miles against 15000 for my normal 2 options.

The 2 tyres fitted are fine but paid for 3 and tbe last one was wrong size and despite emails Black Circle have kept the money but not delivered the right tyre or arranged fitting. Pretty hopeless really.

I already have these fitted on on the front of my civic type R and find that a 215 are a better suited tyre for the car and give longer life to the Tyre. would by again over a 205 45 17 RE040

Bought these tyres as recommended by lexus. The wear rate should be better. I do 10k max per year I need new tyres after 14 months. I will try another brand.

have replaced my Pirelli's with these bridgestones and the drive and grip are a lot better. My wheels were prone to spinning for the slightest reason before but with these Bridgestones the ride is a hell of lot better. Highly recommended over Pirelli's that degrade/wear out too quickly.
