How does ordering from Blackcircles.com work?
- Ordering from Blackcircles.com is simple three stage process.
- Choose from an extensive range of tyres with something for every budget.
- Select your nearest garage and preferred date for convenient, hassle-free tyre fitting.
- Make a secure payment online so that you can simply turn up on your chosen date and have your tyres fitted.
How do I find my tyre size?
- Your tyre size is located on the side of your tyre, (see example image by clicking here), you are looking for information such as – 205/ 55 R16 V 91. These numbers can be shown in slightly different orders depending on the tyre you currently have fitted, keep an eye out for any other information such as RF, XL etc that are also required in order to choose the correct tyre. You can find a full glossary with what it all means in our tyre glossary. Don’t forget to check all your tyres, some vehicles e.g. BMW’s have different sizes on the front and the back. Previous owners of the vehicle may also have fitted incorrect sizes onto the vehicle, your vehicle handbook should show the correct information if you are in doubt. If you are unsure at all about what you need, call our advisory team on 0845 620 2000 and they will help you make the correct choice.
How do I know what tyre to choose?
- Our customers have always told us they like the wide choice of tyres we provide, unlike high street branches that have limited options. We provide full descriptions of the tyre models that show on our sites and add reviews from past customers so that you can make an informed decision. What does the price include?
- The price you see when searching under our “Fully Fitted” option is fully inclusive of; standard rubber valves, fitting, balancing, VAT and disposal of your old tyres. Our “Mail Order” option is for tyres only; a delivery fee will be added as you progress through the order. Please note that some remote areas may be subject to additional charges and occasionally longer delivery timeframes. For more information on areas where this is applicable, click here.

What are Premier Partners?
- We work closely with all of our garages to ensure that they deliver high levels of customer service. Premier Partners however are our best garages. They constantly score highly in Customer Service surveys and have a very high standard of equipment available. Can I get a Mobile Fitting Service?
- Yes! We have mobile fitters in many parts of the country and are always looking for more. Tyres are delivered to the mobile fitter and they will turn up at an address stipulated by you to fit them.
When can I get the tyres fitted?
- We’re able to offer such a wide range of tyres because rather them store them in the fitting centres we send your order out specifically from our warehouses. Once you have chosen your tyres, garages in your area will display dates when they are open for tyre fitting. Tyres need to be despatched from our central warehouses and usually arrive next day. To save you waiting for delivery we suggest the day after delivery as the earliest date for fitting.
I want the tyres quicker is that possible?
- Some areas do have quicker timeframes than others. If you need a quicker fitting than available on our site, let us know and we will see what we can do to accommodate your request.
Why do you need my email, phone and mobile numbers?
- We may need to contact you regarding your order in case any issues occur. It is paramount for us that we keep you informed to minimise any inconvenience. The more contact details you can provide us with the better we can keep you informed.
How can I pay for my tyres?
- Tyres must be paid for either through the internet site or over the phone through our advisors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta or even Paypal (Web only), all with no extra charges.
Are my Card Details Safe?
- Yes. This is a secure site; all the details you enter as part of your booking are transmitted safely. You can check the security setting using your browser – the web address shown when you are on the payment page will start with https: rather than http://. This shows that the page is sending information using a secure method.
We do not store your credit card details; once you have completed this transaction we do not keep your credit card details on our servers.
I’ve placed my order, what happens next?
- Once we receive your order we start organising everything for you straight away to ensure that your experience runs as smoothly as possible. You’ll receive a confirmation email from us immediately, or, if there are any issues with your payment we will email you immediately.
For fitted orders, we will send out your receipt and booking confirmation once the garage has been booked and tyres despatched to your garage. A final email will be sent once we have confirmed arrival of the tyre at the garage ready for the arranged booking. Please make sure you check all these emails fully as they contain important information about times, locations and contact details should you have any issues.
For mail orders, we will send out your receipt as soon as tyres have been sent. Please be aware that although delivery is next day for the majority of the UK, some areas do take 2-3 days to deliver to. Please click here to see affected areas. The majority of our deliveries are handled by DPD, and deliveries normally take place between 9am and 5.30pm. We ask that someone should be there to sign for the goods as tyres are of high value.
If we notice any issues with your order at any stage we will be in touch, but please feel free to contact us if you think that there may be an issue.
What do I need to take to the garage?
- When you place your order you will be given a reference number starting with the letters BC. The garage will ask for this number to be quoted when you arrive at the garage, for peace of mind you may also prefer to print the Booking Confirmation email that we send to you, this also has important information about the fitting arrangements.
Check to see if your wheels need a locking wheel nut. If so you should have been provided with one, these can often be found in the boot with puncture repair kits or in the glove box of your car. Make sure that you provide this to the garage so they can remove your wheels.
How long will fitting take?
- The length of time depends very much on the size and type of tyre that you are having fitted. Some tyres can take 30minutes or more to fit to some vehicles even though many are significantly quicker. When you arrive at the garage the fitters will be able to give you an indication of the likely timeframe.
Do I have to pay the fitter anything?
- No, apart from the tyre fitting you have paid for when you placed the order for Fully Fitted, (see what does the price include?). Any additional work required should be agreed between you and the fitter. Blackcircles.com cannot take any responsibility for additional work requested and agreed further to the tyre fitting or service purchased.
What are centreless alloys?
- Some alloy wheels fitted to Peugeot or Citroen vehicles can have alloy wheels that do not have a removable centre cap – click here to see an example. If you do have these alloys fitted, look out for notes on our website that advise the garages that cannot balance these wheels after fitment.
How do I provide feedback?
- We will send you an email requesting feedback on specific areas of your Blackcircles.com experience after you have placed your order. However we welcome all feedback that you have to give, please email us at customerservice@blackcircles.com. All of our management team sees all these emails to ensure they maintain in constant touch with customer experiences.
What other services can I organise through Blackcircles.com?
- We can currently organise for a service or an MOT for your vehicle through our servicing section, simply click here for a quote. Why do you sometime quote longer delivery timeframes or additional courier charges?
- Some areas within the UK may take a little longer to deliver to than the main towns and cities, please see a list of postcode areas below that may be affected by delays on mail orders and occasionally on fitted orders. Deliveries within these areas may also be at additional charges for mail order and on very rare occasions, some fitted orders. We only charge our customers when we ourselves incur additional charges for delivery, if you would like to verify if you may incur an additional charge at all please call us on 0845 620 2000.
