Role Profile

Blackcircles.com is currently seeking to appoint an International eCommerce Analyst (a newly created position) as part of the business’s next phase of growth.

Working closely with the Head of International and local Marketing and Trading teams, as well as all UK-based teams, you will focus on the key drivers of the business and provide analysis and guidance to the small local teams based in these different countries. Every country has its own unique context, but all are seeking rapid growth. You will need to understand local markets, competitors, and customer behaviour, and the best ways to build traffic, drive conversions, and grow customer engagement and satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work with local teams to implement identified actions, measure results, and reflect on best practices

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Review local websites and marketing campaigns and drive insights regarding user experience and conversion rate improvement opportunities.
• Analyse performance across all channels, identify areas of improvement, and action opportunities to drive growth with particular focus on:
o Ranging and merchandising
o Overall customer experience
o Paid and owned Traffic
o Different customer segments
• Define solutions to address identified opportunities and manage related projects.
• Write specifications, how-to guides, and regular reports to share with different stakeholders.
• Align with the UK Growth Team to build a Conversion Rate Optimisation approach adapted to local market contexts.
• Align with the UK Marketing Team to identify best practices in traffic building.
• Work closely with local teams in different countries to provide business and marketing guidance and support.

Key Personal Criteria:

• Experience of working to eCommerce KPIs & measuring ROI.
• Proficient in handling data and in particular Excel.
• Good command of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices with some experience in a wide range of digital marketing channels: PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Social and Re-targeting.
• Experience of driving traffic from Google organic and use of relevant SEO tools is desirable.
• Some knowledge on UX design for eCommerce.
• Strong experience in translating data insights into clear actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and ideally another language.
• Self-motivated and results-orientated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering a high quality of service/output.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Good organisation, project management and time management.
• Ability to work with remote teams with different cultural backgrounds.
