Product description & features
The Michelin X Coach Z has been developed to withstand all weather types while maintaining high performance levels.
The X Coach Z has outstanding grip performance in all weather types due to the use of REGINION technology. This technology uses self-regenerating tread blocks to deliver exceptional and lasting grip throughout the tyre’s existence – right down to the minimum tread - and all of the conditions the tyre will go through.
The tyre also features INFINICOIL technology – when a piece of continuous steel is placed around the tyre in order to increase the amount of stability the tyre has over time - which leads to enhanced savings on fuel and increased mileage. Michelin even state that the X Coach Z has “up to 16% more mileage versus the previous coach tyre”.
These technologies help to make the Michelin X Coach Z a reliable tyre that you can trust in all-weather types.
What are summer tyres?
Summer tyres are specifically designed for warm weather conditions, particularly during the summer season. This type of tyre performs best when in seasons with warmer temperatures - above 7°C.
How does a summer tyre perform better in summer?
The technologies and tread patterns used in a summer tyre mean the tyres have high-quality features that are of benefit to driving in warm conditions. They typically use a softer rubber compound – designed for good grip and traction when driving on dry and wet roads.
How can I tell if a summer tyre is suitable for winter weather?
The tyre features the EU sanctioned 3PMSF marking - Three Peak Mountain Snowflake:
This accolade was introduced to be an easily recognisable symbol which displays that the tyre has passed standardised, controlled, and, rigorous tests. It confirms the winter suitability of a tyre. Not all summer tyres have this accolade.
