Product description & features

The Ventus Price 3 K125A is a premium SUV tyre designed by Hankook to produce the perfect balance between performance and comfort. It is the SUV version of the Ventus Prime 3 K125.

The Ventus Prime 3 K125A has an asymmetric tyre tread pattern to increase in the level of contact between the tyre and the road. The tread pattern also includes four circumferential grooves designed to quickly remove surface water from the tyre’s path – reducing the risk of the car aquaplaning.

Hankook have constructed the tyre with dual stiffness along the outer ribs of the tyre and have introduced a solid outside block in order to allow the Ventus Prime 3 K125A to remains firm at high speeds and in corners. Created with a high grip silica compound to lower rolling resistance, the Ventus Price 3 K125A delivers extraordinary grip in both dry/wet conditions. Handling and steering response has been substantially improved thanks to the wide steel belt layer within the tyre, as well as the high stiffness bead filler.

Summer Tyres

What are summer tyres?

Summer tyres are specifically designed for warm weather conditions, particularly during the summer season. This type of tyre performs best when in seasons with warmer temperatures - above 7°C.

How does a summer tyre perform better in summer?

The technologies and tread patterns used in a summer tyre mean the tyres have high-quality features that are of benefit to driving in warm conditions. They typically use a softer rubber compound – designed for good grip and traction when driving on dry and wet roads.

Can you use summer tyres in winter?

Whilst summer tyres still offer adequate performances in wet and cooler conditions, it is recommended that you change. The tread design and technologies that are featured in summer tyres can harden in colder temperatures, resulting in reduced flexibility and decreased traction on snow and ice.
