Pirelli P6000

Check Pirelli P6000 sizes

The Pirelli P6000 is one of the most popular tyres on the road at the moment. The tyre design is geared up for practicality as is the compound, creating an all things to all men tyre. Used by BMW, Ford, Vauxhall amongst others. The life of the tyre is very good as is the performance, however if it is sports performance you are looking for then this is probably not the tyre for you. The typical buyer is a motorway driver with a requirement for a long tyre life span and a degree of performance for the weekend!

Life: 3.5 out of 5
Handling: 3 out of 5
Noise: 3 out of 5

Pirelli Pzero Nero

The Pirelli Pzero Nero is relatively new to the production line. It is the closest you will get within the Pirelli range to a track tyre. Its design is like a something out of a science fiction film! This tyre has been seen on some of the BMW, Mercedes and Audi range. The braking distance is something that is noticeably reduced due to the increased footprint provided by the tyres tread section. The softer compound in used by this tyre doesn’t allow a great life span – but lets face it, a short but fun lifespan is better than a long mundane one!

Life: 2.5 out of 5
Handling: 4.5 out of 5
Noise: 4 out of 5

Pirelli Pzero Rosso

The Pirelli Pzero Rosso is a favourite with the Porsche family. This tyre is practical but offers performance at the same time. The life is poor but as a standard fitment on the Porsche Carrera the performance is undoubted. The tyre tread pattern used is focused on handling and control. The Porsche tyre fitments are specific to the vehicle and range from N1 to N4.

Life: 2.5 out of 5
Handling: 4.5 out of 5
Noise: 3.5 out of 5

Pirelli Scorpion Zero

The Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyre is what we would describe as a car 4x4 tyre. If you decided to hit the farmers field you may need a rope and tractor to get out the other side! But this tyre is not built for fields; it is the new breed of Ultra High Performance 4x4 tyres. Found on the likes of the BMW X5 it gives the driver smooth ride and has a relatively long life. Really good in the wet and notably quiet at high speed.

Life: 3.5 out of 5
Handling: 3.5 out of 5
Noise: 4 out of 5

Special Offers

Blackcircles constantly offer excellent deals across a range of different tyre sizes, so please check our latest tyre deals on our Special Offers page. Do you know that on some vehicles it is possible to fit a different brand of tyre from what is currently on the car, you may find a different brand suits your budget and driving style better – so it’s always worth investigating. However some vehicle manufacturers do recommend that you keep the same brand of tyres that originally came on the vehicle as they have worked with the tyre manufacturers to develop vehicle specific fitments to improve the vehicle’s performance.

If you are at all unsure whether you can change brand, please call our customer service team on 0845 620 2000  who will be able to let you know whether there are any alternative brands for your vehicle. Don’t forget that Blackcircles remain independent and we pride ourselves on offering our customers impartial advice on tyres.special.gif
