New Customisable Tyres from Pirelli
The Italian tyre manufacturer, Pirelli, has launched the very first motorbike tyre that can be customised by its owners. Riders can now have their own initials, name, individual words or whole messages put onto their tyres.
The company claims that consumers that want to create their own design on their tyres can also reproduce images and logos. These can then be applied to the tyres’ sidewall. The sidewall of the new tyre, the Diablo Rosso Corsa, was specially designed to work with the adhesive labels that any customer can design on Pirelli’s website. The labels are then shipped out to the customer so they can apply their designs themselves.
In terms of performance, the Diablo Rosso is said to create more 10 horse power (hp) than other tyres tested with an impressive 40 hp increase in the fastest sections of the test tracks.
The new Diablo Rosso tyre has been designed and created for motorcyclists with a particular interest in sport-performance riding - whether it is on the race track or out on the open road.
