The Imported Tyre Manufacturers’ Association Name New President
The Imported Tyre Manufacturers’ Association have announced the appointment of a new President. The man to take over from Steve Tidmarsh – former Kumho UK managing director – has been named as David Seward, the Managing Director of Yokohama’s UK distributor. He will hold the office for two years.
When talking about his new role, David Seward said, ““Yokohama has been a long-standing member of ITMA and I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed President of the Association. ITMA has a vital role in the UK and it is a responsibility I will give my full commitment to.
“I am relishing the opportunity to work with the Association to further strengthen its activities for the benefit of its members.”
David Seward – one of the original founders of Yokohama HPT Ltd - brings over a quarter of a century’s worth of experience in the tyre industry to his new role. Since graduating with an honours degree in Engineering, Seward has worked for Rolls Royce, Southam Tyres and since 1988 with Yokohama HPT Ltd.
