Kumho to Expand Influence across the World Wide Web


Kumho Tires are looking to greatly increase their online marketing presence throughout the rest of 2010 according to a statement made by the tyre manufacturer. It seems that the sites that they have targeted are YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Rick Brennan, Kuhmo’s vice president of Marketing, said “Many of our loyal fans are already active users of Facebook and other social media sites so it was just a natural extension for Kumho to join and be a member of this thriving community".

Kuhmo’s current Facebook page has been in place for a while and acts as a portal of information on new offers, upcoming events and Kuhmo’s unique insight various motor sport races and the people involved.

Kumho are hoping to inform and entertain customers – both old and new – by posting a large variety of videos on the ever-popular YouTube. The videos are set to star the numerous different tyre types designed and produced by the company, as well as the Kumho Girls and highlights of races that the tyre manufacturer are involved in.

Rick Brennan was also quoted as saying, "Our goal is to reach valued consumers that are passionate about Kumho Tire, about cars and motorsports and about life and show them how Kumho fits their lifestyle. By focusing our efforts on the web and online video, we are in essence reaching our loyal enthusiasts on a more personal and relevant manner and inspiring our fans to spread the word about Kumho Tire."
