ADVAN Neova AD08 Release Date Announced for the UK
The latest news to permeate from Yokohama HPT Ltd – the UK based distributers of Yokohama passenger car, 4x4 and race tyres – is that the exciting new high performance tyre from the Japanese manufacturer, the ADVAN Neova AD08, is set to hit British roads in March. This latest product from the highly respected tyre company is said to bridge the gap between the ADVAN Sport, which was designed specifically for the needs of high performance road cars and the ADVAN A048, a road legal track day tyre.
The AD08 takes its basic design and technology from the ADVAN Neova AD07 – which last year reviewers were calling “the fastest street tyre around” – and then goes even further in terms of quality and performance. The new tread pattern of the AD08 is said to function far better in wet and dry conditions than its predecessor and the shoulder blocks have been redesigned to create a continuous tread around the whole of the tyre.
Something that has tyre enthusiasts salivating is that unlike the AD07, the AD08 is going to be available in a large number of sizes – some reports have indicated it will come in 32 different sizes, ranging from 15 to 19 inches.
David Seward, the managing director of Yokohama HPT Ltd, commented on the news of the release date by saying, “We are delighted that we are now able to offer the ADVAN Neova AD08 to discerning UK drivers. We feel it is a unique proposition, offering almost racing tyre performance to the road driver while encompassing good levels of comfort and low noise. With the introduction of the AD08, we now have the perfect tyre for every driver of every car across the Yokohama range, from city car to super car.”
