Michelin Energy Savers reduce carbon emissions
Michelin Energy Saver tyres help Peugeot and Citroen reduce carbon emissions by 15,000 metric tons a year!
Since its exclusive premier on the Peugeot 307 in 2007 Michelin Energy Saver Tyre has allowed reduced fuel consumption, superior grip, safety performance and the best mileage in the market and Monday the 9th of March saw Michelin present PSA Peugeot Citroen with the one millionth Michelin Energy Saver Tyre.
Generating fuel savings of 0.2 litres per 100km in combined cycle driving which results in a reduction in Co2 emissions of nearly 4 grams per km which can represent a reduction of approximately one metric ton per year. The presentation of the millionth tyre represents the groups continued commitment to provide sustainable solutions that enhance the mobility of goods and people, both now and in the future.
