EfficientGrip Performance

215/55 R16 W (97)

Goodyear have constructed the EfficientGrip Performance with 'ActiveBraking Technology' which increases the level of contact between the tread and road surface. This leads to greater levels of traction and therefore shorter braking distances when it counts.

The tyre also features Goodyear's 'WearControl Technology' to ensure that the tyre has a low level of rolling resistance. Not only does this help to save fuel, but it also means the tyre wears evenly throughout its lifespan.

In 2014 the tyre was named 'Best Buy' by Auto Express and in the Which? tyre tests.

Customer Comments

  • Tyres are fantastic grip wise well sweet and noise is very low compared to my last ones Car feels more responsive on steering and braking

  • Much better wet weather grip, road noise considerably reduced. Fuel consumption up slightly, and a much smoother ride. I have just driven 5000 miles on these tyres. And tread wear appears to be negligible. The car is Renault Megane 2.1.5 diesel engine. I would recommend these tyres for this particular model of car. Excellent tire at this price.

  • Great tyre, quiet, great grip all round A1

  • Replaced a very worn set of fronts with maligned tracking so not really a great comparison. Safe to say that I can now brake much easier. The handling at the front is great and have more confidence in them. Wear 6 months down the line is excellent and grip seems good. Lower road noise than older tyres.

  • Great Tyres - Use to buy michelin primacy but now converted to Goodyear (excellent in wet and very quite)
