Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

Car Tyre
Tread Type:

225/35 R19 Y (88)

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 is an ultra high performance tyre that has been developed by Goodyear to deliver short braking distances and high performance handling.

To ensure that the tyre is capable of shorter braking distances, on both wet and dry roads, Goodyear have used their ActiveBraking technology in the construction of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - to increase the level of contact between the tyres and the road when braking. In tests against other leading competitors the tyre recorded, on average, 3 metres shorter braking distances on wet roads and 2 metres on dry.

The tyre's impressive high performance handling is thanks to the use of a high-surface silica compound - which works to improve traction on either wet or dry surfaces. The tyre's stiff carcass design aids in higher precision steering, especially when travelling at higher speeds.

Customer Comments

  • Superb, very grippy

  • They perform really well, better than run flats, better grip in the dry & wet, they have an excellent rim protector, so all in all very pleased with them.

  • Very good performance, grip is fantastic and the rim protection offered is superb

  • Brilliant tyres, not only feel good but look good with the rim protection, you also feel an instant connection with the road as the grip is superb, all round best ever tyres I've had

  • Have only driven 500 miles, but wet and dry breaking are better than previous Bridgestone Potenzas. The new Goodyear tyres are softer, so a little movement around corners. So far so good, thumbs up.
